GEORGIAN SINFONIETTA

GEORGIA

Founded in 2008, Tbilisi State Chamber Orchestra – Georgian Sinfonietta aims to deliver most diverse repertoire at the highest artistic level. The schedule of the orchestra includes performances both in Georgia and Europe, as well as regions of Georgia, where the popularization of chamber music has been a great success. Georgian Sinfonietta has performed in celebrated venues such as Konzerthaus Berlin, Concertgebouw Amsterdam; and is a regular guest to festivals including Tbilisi Wind Festival, Tbilisi Chamber Music Festival, Telavi International Music Festival and Opernfestival Gut Immling. This year Georgian Sinfonietta participated in “Goldberg Festival” of Gdansk (Poland) for the second time and performed recently discovered world premier pieces of baroque period. Since the acquisition of period instruments in 2012, the orchestra pioneers historically informed performances in Caucasus. In 2015, the orchestra founded Tbilisi Baroque Festival, which will be held annually. Sinfonietta has collaborated with Cornelia von Kerssenbrock, Christina Busch, Christoph Mayer, Jordi Savall, Sergio Azzolini, among others.

The Quintet Con Morbidezza is a young quintet from Ukraine. Its members were born in different parts of the country, but united at Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine (NMAU) by the great love of Music! Befor the NMAU, Vasyl Vatseba (rst violin) nished his studies at the Denys Sichynsky Music College; Mykola Kivilov (second violin) and Max Oschchepkov (viola) studied at Mykola Lysenko special school of arts. Max is the laureate of competitions held in Moldova and Ukraine. Violoncellist Vasyl Yurchak is the laureate of competitions in Moldova, Poland, Slovenia, Latvia and Ukraine. Pavlo Khadkevych (accordion) is an alumnus of the NMAU. Now Pavlo's a student at VDU Muzikos akademia (Lithuania). Pavlo also is the laureate of competitions held in Italy, Poland, Latvia, etc.

Leopold Brass Ensemble was founded in 2016 by Paata Beridze in Augsburg, Germany. The ensemble inherited its name from the alumni of Leopold Mozart Konservatorium Augsburg. In past, many famous musicians also had performed under this name in different festivals. Leopold Brass is focused on Baroque music and performs at least one baroque piece in each and every recital. Ensemble members play baroque instruments regularly. Currently, every member of Leopold Brass represents different countries. This makes ensemble's musical image more diverse and interesting. The musicians often perform in famous historical halls at different cities of Germany. The ensemble has prepared totally new program for Georgian audience.

MOZ-ART DUO

AUSTRIA

Ia Davitashvili - Violin

Antigoni Baxe - Guitar

Moz-Art duo was founded by the students of Mozarteum University of Salzburg – Ia Davitashvili (Georgia) and Antigoni Baxe (Greece) in autumn 2016. Their rst performance held in Wiener Konzerthaus - Mozart-Saal. The duo often performs in different famous concert halls of Salzburg. The duo took master classes with Eliot Fisk (USA) and Maria-Isabella Siewers (Argentina). In 2017 Moz-Art is invited to play a recital at Salzburg's famous Marmorsaal. For 2018 musicians plan to record a CD, which will include well known pieces of world music as well as Georgian music, arranged for violin and guitar by Moz-Art duo.
